Creative Architects is an opportunity for the students and younger professionals to come together, network and share ideas about practice in general and refresh our understanding about design. The competition winners have been announced and it is now up to the ‘individuals’ to use this platform of exposure to propel themselves forward and hopefully have better opportunities.

Creative Architect is a great platform for young professionals to explore the numerous opportunities that abound the profession. The seminar is aimed at motivating and inspiring them in order to strive to be the best in whatever they do. Interior design is an allied profession that is open to all; you need not be an architect to become an interior designer. It is a field that deals with the science of the aesthetics in a space. We work hand in hand with the architects to create functional, safe and aesthetically pleasing spaces. My advice to the young professionals here today is to persevere, be consistent, be creative and never give up.

Creative Architect is a good platform and the organizers are doing great job. The competition is made to encourage the entire participant either they win or not, to continue to strive for excellence in whatever they do. I think that the purpose of what they are doing is to motivate the participants towards achieving success in life and open their eyes to the fact that the world is open for them to make a difference through self-determination and bring about positive change.

It has been a very exciting and energetic atmosphere, we are very happy it is a success. For the next year edition we are looking at surprising our friends, supporters, sponsors and followers as usual, it is going to be big as well. We are looking at bringing more people and more schools into it because right now we are yet to cover the entire West African countries so we want to expand and as well as involving more locations. This year we did Lagos and Abuja, so hopefully next year it can be better.

This is the fifth edition and one thing I have noticed is that it keeps getting better and I think in the next couple of years we are going to have a venue much bigger than this and we are going to have the top shots of the industry attending this event. This year edition is a step higher and the next edition is going to be better. What inspired this year edition is the fact that there are people out there that are going to grow up in the next few years into the society and if these people are not good enough for the society there is going to be problem. That is why we said let’s fix that. The first thing I have noticed about people becoming great in life is how they grew up, where they grew up and what they were subjected to. And we said you know what! Let’s give these people home so that they can be able to think and learn how to become better day by day. That was the beginning of ‘The Competition 2017’ as we embarked on giving better homes to displaced persons in IDP camps.
