In an attempt to enhance human temperature, Sony successfully launched their Reon Pocket Pro Plus for personal climate control. A small wearable device that is designed to sit at the base of the neck, upgraded as a thermo device made for the familiar discomforts of hot commutes, humid afternoons, over-cooled rooms, and smartly shifting temperatures between indoors and out. Launched in this month, the exclusive device was designed to redefine the normal cooling systems of air conditions and air blast out of a handheld fan, the tiny device presses a cooling and heating plate against the upper human back, using direct contact with the skin to change how warm or cool the body feels.
The battery of the exclusive device will last up to 15 hours.
Initially introduced in Japan seven years ago, the exclusive device is a continuation of Sony’s Reon Pocket series which has now been upgraded as Pro Plus in order to refine the idea with a stronger thermal system, a more secure neckband, and a slimmer approach to everyday wear. It is a three in one gadget that comprises of gadget, wearable accessory, and small environmental tool, designed around the concept of comfort and it can be adjusted locally to meet the body temperature needs at any time, instead of changing the temperature of an entire room.
The device has dual thermo modules that help it to respond to both heat and cold.
