Computational Designer Hassan Ragab whose inventive design prowess in using AI technology is very exclusive said it’s now much easier to create nearly photo-realistic renderings in a short period of time using the new version 4 of Midjourney, one of the most active design related tools of AI technology.

According to Hassan as posted on his LinkedIn page, it has been almost three months since the release of Midjourney Version 4, and it was obvious from the start how the new version is more direct and strict to prompts. This has introduced a change on how the users are dealing with Midjourney in two ways: it made it very easy for the users to realize their prompts in a very direct way by eliminating the “surprise” element which the older models had (even the variations are way more limited than the older model), and it influenced the users to favor the visual quality of the image over the overall aesthetics of the composition.
Hassan Raqab said in his latest post that he don’t like the approach that he explained above, as he was attracted to the exclusive AI tool Midjourney for its visual unpredictability and the open-ended scenario of how his prompts or variation would go. He said he used to spend several hours just doing the version 3 variations; enjoying all the fascinating outcomes. Raqab further expressed his thought on version 4 that it’s all about the 1st prompt, as it seems like it’s another AI bias to add to the list.

Nevertheless, it is just much easier now to create nearly photo-realistic renderings and it happened in such an astoundingly short period. So here are a few Ai-generated nights’ shots for building façades, created using Midjourney V 4, he said.
