On August 8th and 10th, 2017 at Museum Center Lagos and Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja, the 2017 edition of Creative Architects saw a surge in attendance and ended with great excitement. The event was full of bliss and no dull moment from start to the end. Creative Architects is a platform that gives opportunity to young professionals of the industry to meet and network with over 1500 creative professionals and listen to the industry experts give secrets of sales, finance, business, presentation & entrepreneurship as it pertains to architecture and interior design sectors.

This year Creative Architects as the fifth edition took new directions with the introduction of an online application for smart phone and tablet for the competition and the host extension to Abuja. The inspiration behind this year Creative Architects was very emotional with the title ‘Give Them Home’ which motivated the organizers of the competition Chronos Studeos, an architectural firm based in Lagos that also run the Nigeria’s best Online Interior Shop to embark on giving better homes to displaced persons in Internally Displaced Persons [IDP] camps at the beginning of the competition.
Speakers at the event were; Arc. Theo Lawson, Arc. Hassan Anifowose and Hussein Anifowose of Chronos Studeos and others. Arc. Tosin Oshinowo of CMD+A and other sponsors received awards for excellence. While Owoyele Olumide, Iheanacho Victoria and Babalola Tobi collectively won the Lagos first prize of the competition. Moshood Emmanuel, Osagie Omosigho and Odeyemi Oluwayemi collectively won the second prize and Fatai Osundiji, Ayo-loto Emmanuel and Ogunkunle Tunde collectively won the third prize respectively.
